Oil recovery from waste plastic is a new green technology. For our waste plastic pyrolysis plant, it is based on the advanced technology called pyrolysis, which can effectively convert plastic waste into fuel oil.
The pyrolysis technology takes advantage of high temperature heating and heats the plastic waste in the reactor. When the temperature reaches as high as 250-280℃, the oil will be produced massively. In the pyrolysis process, the most important thing we pay attention to is the pyrolysis oil yield. There are several factors influencing the oil yield.
Firstly, different materials have different oil output rate. For example, PE,PP and PS all have 50%-70% oil output rate, while ABS have 40%. Secondly, the rate also differs according to water percentage. For example, wet leftovers of paper have 15-20% oil output rate, while dry leftovers of paper have 60%. Moreover, the systems of the plant also influence the oil output. We have two operating systems, batching system and continuous system. Compared with batching system, the continuous system has higher oil yield and can run for 24 hours per day without a stop.
In addition, for the waste plastic pyrolysis machine, cooling system is very important, which is closely related to the oil yield rate. Therefore, oil yield rate can be guaranteed if cooling effect is better. Our company has achieved a big success on cooling system after several years of research and improvement. Our new design for semi-solid slurry equipment is that the volume of horizontal condenser is three times the size of vertical condensers, so the cooling effect and oil yield can be guaranteed.
To help customers further improve the plastic pyrolysis oil yield, we can also provide you with special catalyst. The catalyst is made from 24 chemicals, which not only reduces sulfur content and density of oil, but also improves its flavor and color.
